Tai Ji Quan - Movement Meditation
Service Description
Stuart first started learning Tai Ji Quan – movement meditation – in 2001 from Dr. Wang Jun. He went on to live in China for 17 years, continuing to practice this amazing mindfulness in motion, treasure of China. He eventually became fluent in Mandarin Chinese which added great depth to his training and practice and his ability to understand the wisdom his teacher Yang Chen Long was sharing. In this group, we will learn the fundamental movements of the art and the concepts of movement meditation. We will also include elements of mobility and stretching as well as principles from positive psychology. Everyone is welcome, as Tai Ji Quan is a very scalable practice and suitable for just about everyone. We hope to be able to share this amazing movement meditation practice with as many people as possible.
